Das Elektrowerkzeug ist bestimmt zum Hammerbohren in Beton, Ziegel und Gestein sowie für leichte Meißelarbeiten. Es ist ebenso geeignet zum Bohren ohne Schlag in Holz, Metall, Keramik und Kunststoff sowie zum Schrauben. Der Akku-Kombihammer liefert genug Schlagenergie, um die Höchstleistung in Standardanwendungen zu erbringen.  Dieser Kombihammer ist auf Langlebigkeit ausgelegt und wartungsfreundlich durch robuste Komponenten und austauschbare Kohlebürsten. Der GBH 18V-20 Professional ist das Einstiegsmodell im Bosch SDS-Plus Akku-Bohrhammer Segment. Er ist für eine zuverlässige Leistung in Standardanwendungen optimiert und liefert 1,7 Joule Schlagenergie.
