Nase

Dieser Barbaresco erinnert zunächst an getrocknete Blumen und Kräuter. Es folgen Schwarzkirschen, Erde, Waldboden, etwas Lakritze und fermentierter Kardamom, etwas Schwarztee, trockenes Unterholz und recht dunkler Tabak. Das alles wirkt fein verwoben, nicht expressiv, aber elegant und doch eindringlich.

Gaumen

Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Starderi sehr saftig und seidig mit feinen Tanninen. Die Präsenz und die Ausgewogenheit am Gaumen sind hervorragend. Der Nebbiolo ist so transparent, wie es die Farbe vermuten lässt. Es gibt eine gute Portion glasklare, helle Säure, viel dunkle, aber auch rote, teils getrocknete Beerenfrucht und eine sehr harmonische Struktur und Konzentration. Diesen Barbaresco möchte man schon jetzt trinken. Und das, obwohl er eher klassisch als modern wirkt und eigentlich noch sehr jung ist.
