Aus der Kindheitsperspektive erzählen die Bilder von Loredana Nemes (*1972 in Sibiu) von der Schönheit ihrer Heimatstadt und einem in Traditionen verwurzelten Leben: Auf einem Bild der Serie beautiful versprechen barfüßige Beine und ein kleines Dreirad einen endlosen Sommer. Kinder spielen auf der Straße, Erwachsene verbringen ebenfalls viel Zeit draußen, tratschen mit Nachbarn, begegnen einander und der scheinbar unberührten Natur des Umlandes mit endlos wirkender Muße. Der Idylle der Fotografien setzt Loredana Nemes, die 14-jährig ihr Sibiu verlassen musste, poetische Texte entgegen, die ein Gefühl davon vermitteln, welche Zäsur die Flucht aus dem sozialistischen Rumänien für sie bedeutet hat. Innere Bilder stehen den fotografischen gegenüber und ergänzen die Graustufen durch die Farben der Kindheit und Fantasie, durch das Blut eines geschlachteten Schweins, durch Gummibären, durch widerspenstige Teppichfransen oder verbrannte Muttermilch.Die Veranstaltung wird aus Mitteln des Grenzgänger-Programms der Robert Bosch Stiftung unterstützt.

Great socks, watch out for bad seller

The socks are great, comfy, padded where you want it. I used these for work socks; I have a blend of corporate desk life and maintenance work. I like the low cut so my shoes don't rub the back of my ankle but not so high that socks always fall down. Great for running and sports as well. Been using these for years.
Buyer beware though of the particular seller Liegnitz Group:
They were late shipping, sent me the wrong socks so I sent for a return and they send me the right ones. My return got delivered back to them but they did not process it and did not send out any new ones. They cancelled my order and acted like I got the right ones all along. Buy from a different retailer.

Comfortable with perfect fit

I have had these socks for a few weeks now and wear them when running. I have small feet at a men's size 7 and they fit perfectly. Most men's socks are to big for my feet. They are pretty thin but well made and have good cushion. I recommend these for anyone that likes ankle socks for athletic activities.
