Das BMW M1 Procar ist bis heute ein zentraler Bestandteil in der Geschichte von BMW M. Als Rennwagen mit Straßenzulassung konzipiert, fand das Fahrzeug seinen Weg nicht nur als Supersportwagen in private Hände. Mit einer eigens für das Modell geschaffenen Rennserie festigte BMW M dessen Legendenstatus. Sicher ist: Auch 40 Jahre nach dem Debüt des ersten Rennens begeistert das BMW M1 Procar mit hochentwickelter Technik, einzigartigem Design und außergewöhnlicher Performance.
In den Jahren 1979 und 1980 war die BMW Procar Serie eine der spektakulärsten Rennserien in der Motorsportwelt. Im Rahmen der meisten europäischen Formel-1-Läufe nahmen an ihr die fünf schnellsten F1-Fahrer aus den Trainingsläufen des jeweiligen Grand Prix auf identischen BMW M1 teil und traten dabei gegen private Piloten, namhafte Sportwagenprofis und Nachwuchstalente an - heute in dieser Art kaum vorstellbar, bot die Serie ein spektakuläres Kräftemessen, das zu einem großen Publikumserfolg wurde. Gesamtsieger der ersten Procar Saison wurde Niki Lauda. Im Jahr darauf sicherte sich Nelson Piquet mit drei Siegen in Folge Rang eins in der Gesamtwertung. Auf der Carrera Piste kannst Du in die Fußstapfen der Rennfahrerlegende treten und mit dem weiß-roten Boliden richtig Gas geben. Gleich im ersten Jahr der Procar-Serie 1979 konnte sich der sympathische Österreicher den Gesamtsieg sichern. Schaffst Du auf Deiner Carrera Rennstrecke ebenfalls eine neue Rundenbestzeit? Das originalgetreue Modell steht im Carrera Fuhrpark bereit!
Ein Rennlegende im rot-weißen Kleid
Nach Beendigung der BMW Procar Serie im Herbst 1980 maßen sich verschiedene BMW M1 Rennversionen auch in Le Mans und diversen nationalen Meisterschaften (u.a. in der Deutschen Automobil-Rennsport-Meisterschaft und in der amerikanischen IMSA GTO Championship) erfolgreich mit der Konkurrenz. Das Carrera Auto entspricht dem Original, mit dem einst der bekannte Rennfahrer Niki Lauda seine Runden drehte. Doch nicht nur das außergewöhnlich Design, sondern auch die funktionierenden Lichter für Front und Heck sowie Bremse und die individuelle Einstellbarkeit des Fahrzeugs mittels Codierung bringen dieses Slotcar weit nach vorne.

Fantastic Mount especially on rough Roads
Robust and discretely positioned mount. This mount is the real deal. It is by far the highest quality most stable mount that I've ever had in my Tacoma pickup. I also really like that it's positioned closer to the steering wheel in instead of in the windshield, making it easier to view. Very highly recommended!!

Perfecto Product!!
I rarely write reviews, however on this product I need too. This clearly is a pricey phone mount, but after reading so many reviews I went for it & purchased. After opening, I immediately could see & feel the quality of material used. Installation was surprisingly easy & quick to my Tacoma. The mount is very firm, sturdy, very adjustable, perfectly designed product. For as costly as this was, I have absolutely no regrets! Totally can recommend this product to anyone with a Tacoma within the stated production years. So as so many others have said accurately in reviews, I am beyond satisfied even with the cost in mind.

5 Stars with 1 Call-Out….
SOLID built like a tank! Really like the all-metal design. No vibration on the road and minimal if any off road, extremely stable. 360 adjustability = endless options on positioning your phone. Overall a good buy considering fit, form and functionality as compared to the less expensive composite holders that shake move and rattle (Drives me nuts). The ONLY negative…. I have a pro max iphone with a case and there’s no way one-handed operation works to insert and remove the phone into the holder. You can use one hand to adjust the angle and positioning but not otherwise. An OFI for OffRoam, incorporate a tension adjustment into the design for ease of insertion and removal of the phone (without breaking the bank). Taking all things into consideration the pros far outweigh the cons! Best unit out there for Gen 3 Tacoma owners.

Safe phone travels
Color: for 2025-2026 Kia Carnival
