Das Shimano PD-EH500 ist Plattform- und Click-Pedal in Einem. Auf der einen Seite ist es flach zur Verwendung mit Straßenschuhen, auf der anderen verfügt es über eine Aufnahme für SPD-kompatible Schuhe. Die dank geringer Auslösehärte leichtgängige Einrastfunktion dieses Light Action-Pedals vereinfacht dabei den Ein- und Ausstieg, während die flache Seite auch bei Nässe noch ausreichend Grip bietet.
