Mit der Installation dieser Abdeckungen wird das Design des Motorrads stilisiert, indem die Löcher im Chassis abgedeckt werden und verhindert wird, dass sich Schmutz oder Wasser im Inneren ansammelt. Die von Puig entworfenen und entwickelten Abdeckungen werden aus einem einzigen Aluminiumblock gefräst, schwarz eloxiert und mit lasergravierten Logos versehen, um ein perfektes Finish zu erzielen. Da sie für jedes Motorradmodell spezifisch sind, gewährleisten sie einen perfekten Sitz und verhindern, dass sie sich durch Bewegungen und/oder Vibrationen lockern. Sowohl die Montage als auch die Demontage erfolgt schnell und einfach mit nur einem Inbusschlüssel.
