Artist Claudia Hidalgo's creative process for her series Duelo (Grief) has also become a way for the photographer to process and come to terms with her father's absence. She has lived a healing process working on the courts, that space where that sport was their common language. In her series there is a repetition of the same space, using color and light again to seek a reaction and rethink the court as something that goes beyond a purely aesthetic and chromatic interest, becoming her different views of this loss. The affinity with the courts has become a way in which Claudia dialogue's with her dad and it has been her way of leading and facing the grieving process. But above all, it reminds Claudia of the person who made her fall in love with tennis.
