HOW HARD IS IT TO INSTALL AND REMOVE THE MOUNT? CAN I USE IT WITH MY HARDTOP ON OR OFF?
The Refuge attaches to the Bronco utilizing the factory hardtop bolts, and requires no drilling or modification to the Bronco. The Refuge takes just minutes to install and remove to allow for removal of the hard top. The Refuge does not get in the way of soft-top operation either (soft top specific mount only). Keep your valuable portable air compressor out of the hot engine bay, and save the storage underneath your seats for weapons systems, recovery gear, or lockable storage boxes by using the Refuge MOLLE Air Compressor Mount. The Refuge also includes an electrical access hole designed so that the compressor can be hard-wired into the vehicle's electrical system easily.
WHAT IS THE MOUNT MADE OUT OF AND WHERE IS IT MADE?
We craft the Refuge MOLLE air compressor storage mount out of 11 gauge U.S. steel for the ultimate in strength and durability. We proudly manufacture our metal products right here in Colorado. The Refuge comes standard with black powder coating.
