These Fluorites are distinguished by its distinctive faces, which occasionally exhibit color zoning with the darkest purple occurring along the edges of growth spirals. The Fluorites are found in a matrix that is brecciated and resilicified during and after Fluorite growth. This makes it an exceptional specimen with a unique origin. 

The El Filo Vein is a small producer of Fluorite, making this mineral rare from this locality.
