This piece was originally found as the initials LV, but because we all need a little love in our lives, the only way Kirsten’s Corner could see it was “Love”. So we added an O and E in groovy 70’s font that matches the tone of the pin, which harkens back to the psychedelic era. 32 rectangular emeralds are channel set in a line across the top and bottom of the pin. The setting has an open back that supports each individual emerald while also allowing the light to shine through and create a green glow from within the gems. The letters L and V are adorned with 55 brilliant diamonds, in a slightly raised V-shaped roof like setting that gives the pin dimension. A line of gold runs down the center of the letters, while the diamonds are bead set into white gold. The specific attention to detail in this one-of-a-kind piece is astounding.
The pin measures approximately 1 1/2” x 5/8”. It can easily be clipped onto the chain, as shown in the picture, to be worn as a necklace. It is 14k gold and weighs 8.1 grams.
There are 55 round, brilliant diamonds, 2mm each. They are bright and lively, G-H in color and VSI-VSII in clarity. The pin contains 1.65 carats of diamonds. The 32 natural emeralds are rectangular, table cut, approximately 2.7 x 2mm each. They are slightly included (which is standard for natural emeralds) and have a good, green saturated color. The pin contains approximately 2 carats of emeralds.
