The Bobrick B-6806x48 Concealed Mounting With Snap Flange Grab Bar is the longest snap flange grab bar available from Bobrick in the 1-1/2 inch diameter style. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel, the bar is 48 inches in length. Thanks to the grab bar's satin finish, the piece has a reflective, attractive appearance, but requires only minimum upkeep in order to keep the bar free of fingerprints. At 3-1/4 inches in size, the cover snaps into place on the mounting flange and covers the installation screws. The cover is fabricated from 22-gauge stainless steel. To increase the strength of the piece, the grab bar passes through the mounting flange and is joined to it with heliarc welding. The mounting flange is a 1/8-inch stainless steel plate that measures 2 inches in width by 3-1/8 inches in height. If installed with 1-1/2 inches of clearance, the grab bar can withstand up to 900 pounds of weight.
