Each Sky Lantern consists of a vast floating lantern held aloft by a caged Vermilion Warbird, and the elevated position they occupy makes them a particular favourite of Magistrates – consummate strategists who excel at organising the armies of Grand Cathay.
The massive, multi-part plastic Sky Lantern comes with options to mount either a Magistrate or a Strategist, though this miniature can also be used on foot with the square base provided. The crew can be built with iron hail guns and dragon fire bombs or long-barreled crane guns, and the lantern itself can be equipped with a bomb rack. The kit comes with a 115-piece transfer sheet.
