Produced together by Shrager and Big Crown co-founder Leon Michels, the album was recorded in bits and pieces between Shrager s basement and Michels' Diamond Mine studio, which the Observer dubbed the Shangri La of Soul. Much like a dream, the songs often merge the familiar and the unfamiliar, constructing their own psychedelic reality full of beauty and yearning, all fueled by Wise's breathy vocals and the unmistakable electricity of a wildly creative band truly inhabiting their music. Through it all permeates an unshakable sense that this is a group performing just for you. Nobody finds the Shacks re-interpreting Phil Spector's Wagnerian approach to rock 'n' roll, complete with sweeping strings and darkly innocent lyrics. The 13 songs featured on Haze plays out like the soundtrack to some long lost 16mm film, beckoning you into their grainy, saturated world of analog beauty.

Great earring tree!I

I like this earring tree more than I’d expected to! It holds a lot of earrings, is very sturdy and stable, and cute. It also has a little nest basket where you can put items like bracelets and rings. I love that I can see my earring options, and find the ones that best go with my outfit when getting ready for work in the morning. I’m glad it’s metal, almost a work of art, vs cheap plastic. It’s a pleasure to look at, not just functionally useful.

Exactly what I wanted!
It is really exactly what I was looking for. I've been living with my jewelry in ziplock bags since we moved over here and everything fits perfect. I saw some reviews that claimed it was unstable but I tested it and it seems sturdy though I'm not hanging heavy pieces. It is a nice size and I love the little ring basket. It also feels pretty decent quality too. Glad I got the black one as I'm not sure where I have it that the copper/bronze would look right. I think it is elegant, practical and I wish I could post a photo with my pieces on it to show that it really holds things beautifully.

Looks great by my bed!
Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art!
I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye.
The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease.
However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

Beautiful jewelry display

A few rough edges, but all in all well made and attractive. Holds lots of earrings and I can drape my necklaces on the tree. There's a nice bowl for bracelets and a nice tray that forms the base.

Gorgeous

It really is pretty to look at. To be honest arranging the earring on the tree is a bit of a pain, because the leaves tilt in different directions, and you have to play with it a bit to get the earrings to hang the way you would like them, but once you figure it out, they look very nice. I just adore it because it looks so pretty. I use the basket on the side for rings and watches, and the little plate in the base for a few miscellaneous pieces like necklaces or bracelets for balance and because they look nice. You'll love it.
