This latest model represents London Fire Brigade's 'C' Division Van based at Shoreditch, one of five similar vans delivered to the Brigade in 1968. In the signature bright red Fire Brigade colour scheme with black trim and black interior, the model is registered SLK 63F from that year.

London Fire Brigade operated several Commer Walk Thru Vans as Division Vans. They were used for transporting equipment to and from stores, workshops and neighbouring divisions, as well as conveying additional equipment such as breathing apparatus, foam and floodlights to incidents where the fire engines were operating. Additional decoration on our replica includes the Brigade crest on the side panels of the van with gold/black dropped shadow lettering. A practical feature on our Commer is the addition of a small rectangular 'window' above the front wheel on both sides, incorporated into many similar vehicles so that the driver could see the pavement edge when parking.
