The Jagdpanther was the tank destroyer version of the famous Panther tank, with a turret-less modified upper hull and equipped with the potent 88mm gun. Tamiya depicted a late model with this kit in 1/48 scale. Characteristic parts for the late model, such as exhaust pipes with flash suppressors and the crew compartment heating unit over the radiator cooling fan are included in the kit as optional parts. Tracks are link-and-length injection plastic. The upper run has the natural sag molded in. Sponson floor fillers are included. Chassis is made of die-cast metal, and comes already primed.
