In the Bay Area it was mostly smaller indoor grows. As it spread to the North Bay and up into the Triangle I was one of the first commercial outdoor growers to test it out at a decent scale. I gave the cut to Kevin Jodrey when Wonderland Nursery was at its prime. He had it available for the 2012 season, which is when GSC blew up in Humboldt for a few years, but from the 2011 outdoor season I was the only grower I knew who had hundreds of pounds of it.

We were all impressed by how well a low-yielding indoor cut from the Bay yielded outdoors in Humboldt. The quality was awesome and we were blown away by the density of the nugs and how small a pound looked.

The male selections in 2011 and 2012 of the original hybrids we made are a long story, so I’ll focus on what’s been accomplished. Admittedly not our best name, but at this point this seed line may be our best work and most consistent quality in every plant.

Lowers are beautiful platinum/silver/purple, coated in large resin glands. Flavors range from deep musk and gas with a unique sweetness. Great nighttime smoke, this herb has been great medicine for many people over the years.
