Reviews
ÒIt has taken more than five decades to put these recollections into this book, 13 months as an Infantry soldier in 1st Air Calvary in South Vietnam, Òwalking point,Ó being shot at, being wounded & medivacked, surviving ambushes & rocket attacks, living in the jungle & serving in a combat unit for over a year and then finally home.Ó

Dennis GrahamÕs book about his combat tour in Vietnam with Company C, First Battalion, Eighth Cavalry Regiment, tells the story of an infantry soldier in the jungles of Vietnam. He tells of the truthful day-to-day struggle to stay alive and sane in a hostile environment where not only enemy soldiers but accidents, disease, or injury could claim your life at any time. He writes with some restraint when describing the wounds of other soldiers and the horror of combat but offers us an insight into his own emotions without restraint. Dennis is a true hero both as a soldier and a citizen.
