Large panicles of strongly fragrant purple blue double flowers that bloom heavily from late spring into summer. Best flowering with full sun and rich, moist well drained neutral soils. Scentara Double Blue Lilac is a large upright deciduous shrub with dark green foliage that turns purplish in fall.  Large panicles of strongly fragrant purple-blue double flowers that bloom heavily from late spring into summer.  Best flowering with full sun and rich, moist well-drained neutral soils.  Scentara Double Blue has excellent disease resistance.
