Care
General Maintenance: If grown in water, change the water weekly to avoid disease.Temperature: 18°C to 32°C is ideal.
Light: Lucky bamboo prefer bright, filtered sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight as it will scorch the leaves. They are more tolerant of too little light than too much. If the plant begins to stretch, or the green fades provide more light.
Watering: Bamboo is very sensitive to chlorine and other chemicals commonly found in tap water. Water with distilled or bottled water. You can also water with tap water that has been left to sit out for a minimum of 24 hours to allow the chlorine to evaporate.
Fertilizer: A single drop of liquid fertilizer each month is plenty for most lucky bamboo arrangements. Plants grown in water only need to be fed every other month or so, using a very weak fertilizer.
Soil: Well-drained, rich potting soil that is kept moist, but not soaking. It can thrive well when housed in pebbles or simply a vase filled with water, so long as it has at least an inch of standing water at all times.

A fun, inspiring, thought-provoking read.

A witty, learned page-turner, replete with wacky anecdotes but suffused by wisdom and patriotic love. Metaxas shows how the biblical view of the human person made America possible, and weaves throughout the story pieces of evidence that Providence actively aided the pious patriots against their cynical, post-Christian enemies in Britain. I devoured this book in 72 hours, and now I want to go back and read it again.

EXCELLENT! Just the book I wanted to prepare for the 250th. Less textbook, more like a long chat with a friend. A great refresher on the important events of the birth of our nation and deep appreciation for some the men and women who don’t always get attention. It is so incredible how many events had to come together for our nation to come together as the GREATEST Nation in the History of the World!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed Strangers. It was the perfect length — long enough to get invested in the characters without dragging on. The story felt very relatable and honest about how much people and marriages can change over 20 years. I appreciated how openly it explored growing apart, unmet expectations, and the complicated emotions that come with long-term relationships.
That said, while I could understand some of James’s feelings, I personally don’t think I could ever forgive him for walking away from his kids. That part stayed with me long after I finished the book.
