Sulfur doping changes the conductivity of carbon nanotubes, increases the electron transport rate, and then increases the embedding/deembedding rate of lithium ions, and improves the charge-discharge performance of the battery. Sulfur doping provides additional receptors and donor sites, enhances the interaction between carbon nanotubes and reactants, and increases the catalytic reaction rate.
