The 02 01 180 high leverage combination pliers, the 74 01 160 high leverage diagonal cutters and the Knipex Cobra 87 01 250 high-tech water pump pliers together make up the Power Set from Knipex. This name can really be taken literally, because the design and materials used make all three pairs of pliers highly efficient when gripping, holding, cutting, turning and locking. They are forged from carefully selected high-grade special tool steel, oil-hardened and put together in modern processes: for a long tool life, for efficient working.

Diagonal cutters with approx. 64 HRC, combination pliers with approx. 63 HRC cutting edge hardness

The high cutting capacity of the high leverage diagonal cutters and the high leverage combination pliers is attributable to the fact that their cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 64 HRC and 63 HRC. Professional users know the performance that these figures stand for.

Thanks to the optimised high-performance transmission, 35 % less manual force is required with the high leverage combination pliers than with conventional combination pliers. Made from chrome vanadium electric steel: the high-tech water pump pliers

The Knipex Cobra water pump pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel. The opening width is adjusted directly on the component: place the upper jaw on the component, press the button, push the lower jaw up to the component, release the button, the pliers are accurately adjusted. The fine adjustment enables the user to find a hand-friendly gripping position. Thanks to the self-locking effect, all manual force can flow into the rotating movement, for example.
