Jackie Lynn is the new album from Haley Fohr, the compelling front woman of Circuit des Yeux. Recorded and featuring performances by Cooper Crain of Cave and Bitchin' Bajas, the album also featured Crain's Bitchin' Bajas bandmates Rob Frye and Dan Quinlivan. For this album, Fohr created the persona of Jackie Lynn, developed her back story and then wrote the album as her. These songs of a country girl gone drug dealer have a fast and loose air. The combination of the Lynn persona and Crain's affection for synthesized sounds of all sorts makes for an entirely singular pop album. Ever center stage is the utterly powerful voice of Fohr. Haley, solo and with Circuit Des Yeux, has toured and collaborated with an astounding variety of musicians in her nascent career: from Bill Orcutt to Liturgy and Julia Holter. 2015's Circuit des Yeux release In Plain Speech was lauded by press and radio worldwide; including NPR's First Listen, Pitchfork, Magnet, Stereogum, Tiny Mix Tapes, AllMusic, BOMB, Ad Hoc, Exclaim, Relix, Impose, Jezebel, Paper Magazine, and more. Upcoming collaborations include being a part of Glenn Branca's ensemble for the RBMA Festival in May. 2016 sees the story continue within Jackie Lynn; Fohr's impassioned baritone and striking melodies makes this collection of songs compulsive listening. Jackie Lynn:: The Chicago Chronicle Jackie Lynn was born in Franklin, TN on June 1st, 1990. "I've always been the source of action. My mom didn't even make it to the hospital before I decided to come into this world. She had to lie right down on the sidewalk in front of Rolling Hills Hospital as doctors hovered around to help. It was storming that morning, and right as I was coming into the world a bolt of lighting fell from the sky, striking my mother right in the belly. They say I shot out of her like a bullet from a gun, right into oncoming traffic." Jackie, now a 25-year-old Gemini residing somewhere unknown, has mysteriously disappeared after leaving a chronological musical artifact that the city of Chicago is now using to try to trace her whereabouts. This is what we know: Born and raised in Franklin, TN, in May of 2010, Jackie took a Greyhound bus from Franklin, TN to Chicago, IL. Upon her arrival in the city of Chicago, Jackie found a cheap sublet on the south side of Chicago. She soon became acquainted with Tom Strong (real name unknown) on a short CTA bus trip to the Chicago Loop. We believe that Tom & Jackie together ran a multi-million dollar business distributing the illegal substance of cocaine around Chicago & the Chicago tri-state area for over 4 years. Authorities believe that a local automobile shop was used as the main distributions headquarter. Over the years, Tom & Jackie have become well known for their large and lavish parties thrown at an apartment located on Sacramento & 26th street. Police have been hot on their trail, but have found no probable cause to make an arrest. A domestic dispute was reported on February 18th of 2015. When police arrived, the apartment was found deserted. Traces of cocaine were found on a red and gold LP jacket with the following recording enclosed.

1.1 Bright Lights
1.2 Chicken Picken

Definitely worth the price
Size: 6.5, Color: Black/Black
Absolutely love these boots! I originally bought them to wear in NYC in December & they did not disappoint. They were comfortable, cute, durable and worked well in the slush/snow. The traction on the bottom is also nice! They kept me warm with wool socks. I wear them almost daily now. Perfect for everyday. easy to wear with variety of outfits. Good every day shoe.

Snagged a deal
Size: 7, Color: Redwood/Gum 10
I waited and waited to get these boots! I knew I was chancing it, but they went on sale, and I snagged them! I am a size 7, and they fit nicely with socks. a little loose, barefooted, but what psycho wears boots without socks? They are comfortable and really well-made.

Cute, comfortable waterproof boots (a little snug to put on)
Size: 7, Color: Velvet Tan/Gum 2
These are really cute Chelsea-style boots and feel very comfortable once they’re on. The waterproof material is great for wet weather and the sole feels sturdy with good traction. They look stylish enough to wear casually but still feel practical for rainy days.
The only downside is they can be a little difficult to put on at first because the opening is somewhat snug, but once they’re on they fit well and feel supportive. Overall they’re a great waterproof boot and I’ve enjoyed wearing them.

Surprisingly great for my wide feet and high instep!
Size: 10.5, Color: Velvet Tan/Gum 2
So thrilled I took a chance on these. Finding boots is impossible for me. I have wide feet, a super high instep, a bunion on one foot, and I wear a hard to find size (10.5). I ordered the 10.5 and 11 in these expecting I might need to size up for width (if I could even get them on). It was a struggle getting the 10.5s on the first time, and once I did they were somewhat uncomfortable on the top of my left foot. But I read that they would relax so decided to give it a go because I need waterproof boots for an upcoming trip and the 11s felt too long. After two days of light wear, they are already breaking in and I have no more discomfort. Getting them on is already easier and they are plenty wide enough and very comfortable to walk in. These are true to size. Super happy and worth a day of mild discomfort to break them in!

Comfortable, sturdy, waterproof
Size: 9.5, Color: Black/Black
Loce, love, love these boots. Have walked ten miles with no foot pain around NYC. They go with everything and and are so comfortable. As they are waterproof/resistant, they get a little warm in high temps, but perfect three-season boots.
