Six Questions Your InXpress Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit business plan in Microsoft Word based on our independent analysis of the franchise model. All six chapters-from the executive summary to the financial plan-are pre-populated with data specific to opening and operating a logistics consultancy franchise. The plan projects first-year revenue of $870,000 and is fully editable to match your local market and funding requirements.

1. What's the core business case for this franchise unit?

The business case is to establish a profitable freight brokerage franchise that provides discounted, high-touch shipping and supply chain consultancy services to underserved small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By leveraging the franchisor's global carrier partnerships and proprietary technology, the unit can capture a loyal client base and project a first-year EBITDA of $200,000.

Key Success Factors

  • Targeting high-growth SMEs in tech and manufacturing hubs.
  • Offering Fortune 500-level shipping rates through established carrier networks.
  • Providing personalized, consultative service that automated platforms lack.
[dynamic_pic9]

2. What exactly does the franchise unit sell?

The franchise sells access to discounted domestic and international shipping services, freight management, and logistics consultancy. The revenue model is built on margins from shipping services and fees for specialized consulting. Projections show revenue is driven primarily by domestic shipping margins, starting at $300,000 in 2026, supplemented by international shipping and consultancy fees.

Core Service Offerings

  • Domestic and international parcel, freight, and cargo shipping.
  • Logistics consultancy for supply chain optimization and cost reduction.
  • Access to the WebShip+ platform for streamlined shipment management.
[dynamic_pic10]

3. Who are the target customers and what is the market opportunity?

The primary target customers are local SMEs, e-commerce businesses, and manufacturing firms that need reliable and cost-effective shipping but lack the volume to secure deep discounts from major carriers. The opportunity lies in becoming their dedicated logistics partner, offering personalized SME shipping solutions and expert advice that larger competitors often overlook. This is one of the best shipping franchises for entrepreneurs focused on B2B services.

Primary Customer Segments

  • Small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in local tech and industrial parks.
  • E-commerce companies needing scalable fulfillment and shipping.
  • Manufacturers managing complex international freight and logistics.
[dynamic_pic11]

4. How will the franchise unit acquire customers?

Customer acquisition will be driven by a hyper-local direct sales and networking strategy, supported by a launch marketing budget of $12,000. The plan focuses on building relationships through local business groups, such as the Chamber of Commerce, and targeted outreach to businesses in specific corridors. This high-touch approach is designed to build trust and secure long-term, recurring revenue streams.

Customer Acquisition Channels

  • Direct sales outreach and consultative meetings with local business owners.
  • Networking via local business associations and industry events.
  • Referral programs built within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
[dynamic_pic12]

5. Who will run the business and what is the staffing plan?

The business will be led by a hands-on Franchise Owner, supported by a Business Development Manager and a Logistics Consultant from day one. The initial team includes the owner (at a $95,000 salary) and a BDM (at a $70,000 salary), with plans to add sales and customer service staff as revenue grows. This structure ensures strong leadership in both sales and operations, which is defintely critical for scaling a small business shipping agency.

Initial Management Team

  • Franchise Owner responsible for strategy, finance, and overall management.
  • Business Development Manager focused on new client acquisition.
  • Logistics Consultant to manage client accounts and provide expert advice.
[dynamic_pic13]

6. What are the financial requirements and key performance metrics?

The initial investment includes a $50,000 franchise fee and approximately $73,000 in other startup costs for items like office buildout, equipment, and marketing. The financial plan projects the business will reach its breakeven point in March 2026, just three months after launch. Key metrics to watch are the 12.4% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the path to profitability, with EBITDA growing from $200,000 in Year 1 to over $1 million by Year 5.

Key Financial Metrics

  • Projected first-year revenue of $870,000.
  • Breakeven achieved within 3 months of operation.
  • Payback period is projected to be after Year 5.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!
