By precisely synchronizing the transmission timing of all co-located Radwin radios, this rugged outdoor unit ensures your network operates at its peak potential. The GSU leverages a high-accuracy GPS receiver to provide a stable and consistent timing reference, effectively eliminating mutual interference between hub-sites and radios. This process of inter-site synchronization is critical for scaling your network, increasing capacity, and extending range without signal degradation.
Robust, All-Weather Design
Engineered for deployment in the most demanding environments, the Radwin GSU is built to last. It features a 100% condensing, IP67-rated housing, which offers complete protection against dust ingress and immersion in water up to 1 meter. With an operational temperature range of -35°C to 60°C (-31°F to 140°F), this unit guarantees reliable performance in extreme heat, cold, and humidity. Power is supplied via a separate PoE device, simplifying installation with a single CAT-5e cable for both power and data.
Flexible and Simple Integration
The RW-OGSU is designed for seamless integration with all types of Radwin radios. It supports both serial and Ethernet interfaces for flexible connectivity options. The complete kit includes the outdoor synchronization unit, an external GPS antenna, and the necessary RF cable, providing everything needed for a straightforward setup. This ease of operation and maintenance makes the GSU an essential component for any robust Radwin point-to-point or point-to-multipoint deployment.
