This PoE splitter is supposed to work fine with non-PoE USB-C devices that need a 5V input without any extra configuration, provided that you have already deployed your PoE switches or injectors.
- Step 1: Connect the USB-C male port of the splitter to the female port on the target device.
- Step 2: Connect the RJ45 male port of the splitter to the female port on the target device. Skip this step if you don’t need Ethernet.
- Step 3: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the PoE splitter to a PoE switch or PoE injector through the RJ45 female port
