Vinyl LP pressing. 2019 release from the Arab Strap member. Malcolm Middleton is back, again, with his seventh studio album Bananas, this time on the East Neuk of Fife's Triassic Tusk Records. The guitarist and songwriter is best known for his work with Aidan Moffat in the Scottish indie band Arab Strap, as well as for his string of DPR$$N-CORE smash hit solo singles. On Bananas Malcolm has teamed up with the acclaimed not-jazz trio (David Jeans/drums, Stevie Jones/double bass, and Graeme Smillie/piano) to produce an album that is both scathing and nice. Malcolm continues to report back from the depths of the everyday, whilst simultaneously attempting to monetise hell. Adding a dose of saccharine to the mix are the Samaratinesque choir of Kenny Anderson (King Creosote), Jenny Reeve (Bdy_Prts) and Dan Willson (Withered Hand). Recorded and Mixed by Paul Savage (Mogwai, Delgados) at Chem19 Studios in Glasgow.

Great sleep

Good overall

Bought these for our guest bedroom. They are quite overstuffed, so if you like full pillows this will be your thing. As such they are dense and firm. The height is a bit much if you are small framed, but are comfortable overall and stay cool enough to be nice in the summer.

Finally Found Pillows Everyone Loves

I LOVE these pillows. I bought the king-size set and ended up liking them so much that I want them on every bed in the house.
They’re soft but still supportive, and they actually work for different sleeping positions, back, side, and stomach sleepers. They don’t go flat, but they’re also not overly stiff, which is such a hard balance to find. I throw them in the washing machine which makes them super easy to wash! The size is true to King!
They feel cool and hotel-quality, and the down-alternative fill is great if you don’t want real feathers. I wake up without neck pain, and they keep their shape night after night.
If you’re picky about pillows (like I am), these are absolutely worth it. Comfortable, affordable, and a great value for a set of four.
