This is Jan's first solo album as singer/songwriter!!! It's called 'Never Too Late' and it is an eclectic mix of musical styles and sentiments. Some of the best musicians in the business worked on it with her including her co-producer/guitarist Peter Calo, of Carly Simon fame! Jan is best known from her work on Broadway and in the Symphonic Orchestra world as a guest soloist . She has sung with over one hundred orchestras in the U.S. as well as major orchestras in Italy, Brazil, China, Israel, Canada, and even Bulgaria!!!! She appeared in five Broadway shows including the original companies of 'The Phantom of the Opera' where she got to perform the roles of Christine and Carlotta; Bob Fosse's 'Sweet Charity' (the first revival starring Debbie Allen); and 'The ThreePenny Opera' starring the one and only Sting. Jan toured around the country playing a very old cat - Grizabella, (you know the one who sings 'that song')- in Lord Lloyd Webber's 'CATS'. She is proud of her Off-Broadway work as well which includes working with Yoko Ono in her musical 'New York Rock' (cast album on Capitol Records), and playing the role of Svetlana in the Tim Rice's Revised version of 'Chess' where she got to sing one of the best songs ever written: 'Someone Else's Story'. Another Off-Broadway favorite was 'Jacques Brel is...' at the old Equity Library Theater where she wowed audiences with her version of Brel's amazing song 'Marieke'. As a songwriter Jan had the incredible priviledge of premiering her song 'Immigrant's Anthem' with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra in 2005, and most recently got to sing it again with The Rochester Philharmonic on a barge in the Erie Canal with about 14,000 people lining the shores! Quite a thrill!!! This year she also performed another original song called 'Adolescent's Lament' with the Albuquerque and Wichita Symphonies in which she played- of all things -her TUBA!!! (Note her tuba can be heard on the final track of her CD as well!) Jan lives in New York City with the love of her life, the incredibly gifted Italian-born painter/artist/poet, Rino Li Causi. Rino provided the beautiful images for her CD and also helped to compose one of the songs (the one sung in Italian!). SO GOOD!!
Format: Kindle
Okay this is definitely one of my favorite books of 2023. I was in a reading slump and this book made me feel excited! I read it all day and stayed up till 3 to finish it, could not put it down.
Spoilers so you may wanna stop reading.
Spice? ✅ plot? ✅ magic? ✅
I loved the fact that our fmc romance did not just start with the mmc. Like cmon most people don’t end up with their true love right away and we gotta kiss a couple toads before we find him. I LOVED our Ryken omg new book boyfriend. I am just sad I have to wait now for the next book. That ending!!

The gasp I gasped!
Format: Kindle
Okay so “dark fantasy” is not a go to of mine, like at all. But OMG! I loved this. I personally didn’t feel like any of the themes were that “dark”. The story and the characters were so intriguing and I was instantly hooked! It was such a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end, and it was well worth it!

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series.
Favorite quotes:
"The truth may be twisted but never false."
"Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?"
"In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.
