Intervallo present a reissue from Amedeo Tommasi's Rotary Records label, Narassa's Tensione Dinamica (1974).The niche occupied by libraries in the history of Italian music is full of amazing stories, such as Rotary Record's, which is actually one of the most interesting and peculiar. The label, created and led by renewed composer Amedeo Tommasi, released seven albums in just one year - between 1973 and 1974 - of material ranging from futuristic experimentations to classic and jazz (the latter being one of the biggest passions of Tommasi). He wasn't just the boss, he also played piano and electronic instruments in all the records he released. He also took care of all the brilliant artwork (the original ones can easily be found online) and of pressing duties. The first three volumes of the series were released in 300 copies each, the other four in a humble press of 100 each: numbers that show how rare these records are nowadays, and how scarce their circulation was at the time. Tensione Dinamica by Narassa (an alias of Sandro Brugnolini), is the first of two Intervallo releases dedicated to Rotary's experimental vein, the other being Farlocco's Tecnologia (INTER 006LP). This lost gem by the duo Brugnolini/Tommasi is a work ahead of it's time - pretty much as it happened to the almost-twin album Tecnologia. It's characterized by a lighter use of technology and a more traditional approach. Creative tension (be it static or dynamic, like the first two song titles of the album) is always headed toward experimentation, even if touches of jazz and of the great tradition of Italian libraries can be found in the album. "Vacuum" (in two versions), "Conflittuale" and "Filterband" introduce electro touches, but the biggest surprise comes with "Spleen", the opener of side two: a perfect track to be sampled for hip-hop... for example, Mobb Deep. But Tensione Dinamica is also enhanced by the precious liquid piano and the synth mumbles of "Subtone". And let's not forget the invention of Stereolab in "Aflogelia".

Look nice and were an easy setup.

Simple and do what they are supposed to do. I use them to add a bit of flare to my desktop setup for online meetings, etc. If I had to nitpick, I'd say cabling is always interesting to route to reduce desk clutter, but I am not going to remove a star for what pretty much has to be. They look nice too.

Good, but missing white (ww) hues hurt performance

I bought these lights just a little over a year ago, and overall I’m pleased with them. I bought them because standard strip lighting does not work well with the shape of my ultra flat TV, something I did not consider on purchasing the TV.
The lighting effects that these can produce are really impressive, at times you can see what appears to be the individual LEDs and the effects are somewhat more granular or pixelated than other lights from GOVEE.
The issue I have with these lights is that they are not able to produce cool, white and warm white, and they do not render colors like other bulbs from GOVEE. Colors on these lights tend to be brighter than every other light source I have from Govee, including their lightbulbs and their floor lamps. Although I knew about the white rendering, I did not realize how annoying it would be to see warm, white and cool, white rendered poorly on these TV lights. If you want to truly seamless and integrated looking product, I suggest you look elsewhere as these aren’t quite there. If you don’t care or are using these in a room where you don’t have any other light sources from Govee, then go for it — you’ll love them.

Great way to control TV and radio in one room from an easy chair in another room!
I help a 96 year old blinded vet with tech support -- and as his health worsens, needed to make his TV, his radio, and the audio switch that selects what audio should go into his hearing aids via Bluetooth work from his easy chair in his living room. All the equipment is in his bedroom. This IR repeater system installed quickly and easily and works perfectly. Now he can summon ball games, news, or whatever he wants without fear of getting up and falling down. A perfect solution!

Magic!!!
I am no tech expert but these little guys are magic! We had just put in a wall of built-ins and desperately wanted to hide our cable box behind a cabinet, but with it being infrared this would not work without these little repeaters! First off I just have to say that the Sewell customer service is off the charts. You actually get to speak to a real person right away, no annoying menu after menu trying to get help. They helped us so much when we hit a couple snags. Here are a couple things that I figured out that I hope will help others. First you can hide both of these little discs, they both come with tiny little eyes that can attach to your tv and cable box or whatever you are trying to use them for, and they are nearly invisible. Second, don’t get nervous when you plug them into the power outlet and the lights don’t come on, this is ok and they aren’t supposed to stay on, they kind of blink here and there, and only when you use your remote. Third, we have an Altice One cable box (not the mini, just a regular cable box) and it was impossible to find the eye to attach the emitter’s eye (Side note: we had to put the emitter disc on top of the cable box because we couldn’t fit the emitter disc pointing in front of cable box. The directions give you both options though and you can basically put it anywhere as long as the eyes attach). The phone trick did not work on this particular cable box. But after trying about a dozen different spots on the front of the box we finally got it to work by putting the eye right on where the digital clock numbers are. I put it basically right on top of the colon (:). Cable vision was no help with this so I hope this can save others from our frustration. After we found the eye everything came together and worked perfectly! No more do we need to keep the cabinet open to change channels… it’s a miracle!!! Hope these little guys work forever.
