Six Questions Your Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We built this trampoline park business plan using our own research to give you a massive head start. All six chapters are pre-populated in Microsoft Word with data specific to opening and operating this type of indoor entertainment franchise, and it's all fully editible. For instance, the plan models first-year revenue of $1.71M and an initial EBITDA of $410,000, providing a solid baseline for your local assumptions and writing a business plan for an indoor sports facility.

1. What's the core business case for this franchise unit?

The business case is to establish the premier indoor 'Active Play' destination in a high-traffic entertainment corridor, leveraging a proven franchise model to meet strong local demand from families, teens, and corporate clients.

The Bottom Line

  • Proven operational business model with strong brand equity and franchisor support.
  • Diverse indoor trampoline park revenue streams including memberships, parties, and corporate events.

2. What does the franchise unit sell and why do customers buy it?

The unit sells premium active entertainment experiences, including general admission to trampoline courts, ninja courses, and dedicated party packages. Customers buy the unique combination of fitness, high-energy fun, and a safe, well-managed social environment for all ages.

The Offer

  • Active Entertainment: General admission for signature attractions like trampolines and air courts.
  • Premium Parties: A core revenue driver offering all-inclusive birthday and event packages.
  • Specialized Events: 'After Dark' neon nights and group bookings for schools and companies.
[dynamic_pic10]

3. Who are the local customers and what is the market opportunity?

The target market consists of local families seeking party venues, Gen Z teens looking for social activities, and regional tourists visiting nearby attractions. The opportunity is to become the go-to destination for active entertainment by offering a superior experience to what local competitors can provide.

The Local Market

  • Primary: Families with children and teens seeking premium party venues and active fun.
  • Secondary: The Gen Z demographic, attracted by specialized social events and a vibrant atmosphere.

4. How will the unit attract and retain customers?

Customer retention will be driven by a multi-tiered membership program that encourages repeat visits and builds a loyal community base.

[dynamic_pic12]

5. Who will run the business and how will it be staffed?

The unit will be led by a full-time General Manager ($90,000 annual salary) responsible for all operations. They will oversee an Operations Manager and a scalable team of court monitors, party hosts, and front-desk staff, with staffing levels designed to grow alongside revenue.

The Operating Team

  • Leadership: A General Manager and an Operations Manager to ensure smooth daily execution.
  • Frontline Staff: A team of 6 Court Monitors and 2 Party Hosts at launch, scaling as demand grows.
  • Support Roles: A dedicated Maintenance Technician and front desk staff to manage safety and service.
[dynamic_pic13]

6. What are the key financial projections and metrics?

The financial plan projects first-year revenue of $1.71M, growing to $4.175M by year five. Key metrics show the unit reaching its breakeven date in just 4 months and achieving a full payback in 5 years, though a minimum cash deficit of -$407,000 highlights the need for significant startup and working capital.

The Financials

  • Revenue Growth: Sales are projected to grow from $1.71M in Year 1 to $4.175M in Year 5.
  • Profitability: Year 1 EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) is forecast at $410,000.

GET THEM!!
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
Fully gold plated inside and out! I initially got the amazon basic connectors for the same price, but was disappointed in the tiny burgundy positive label they had. It was also very dirty inside the connector and it wasn’t gold plated through out the connector. These are excellent in quality and have a bright red ban on the connector! You wont be disappointed and beats out Sewell connectors for the price!

Decent, but be careful of frequent use.
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
The looks are very nice, functional if left alone once assembled. After that I would leave them alone otherwise you risk the main male portion just coming loose of the housing, sound quality is decent, nothing to write home about, but again, not very durable. If they could fix that 1 thing, these would be very good buy and value, the rest of each plug is hefty and well made.

Great Quality and Value - Perfect Connections
Size: 10 Pairs, Pattern Name: Banana Plugs
I used these Monoprice 24k gold-plated banana plugs to connect both my surround sound and desktop speakers, and they work perfectly. The connections are solid and secure, with no looseness or signal issues. They’re easy to install, look great, and offer excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Fantastic speaker plug at a great price!
Size: 5 Pack, Pattern Name: Banana Plugs
This is a product that gets the job done effectively, and at a good price. Banana plugs are used to clean up speaker wire - you can generally screw in speaker wire, but banana plugs provide a nice interface that allows you to plug in and remove speaker wire as needed. These closed plugs do a good job terminating / hiding the wire. They fit very well into various components and amps that I own. INSTRUCTIONS to install / use them: * Remove around 1" - 2" of the white casing to expose the red and white individual speaker wires * Strip each wire so ~1/2" metal is showing * Make sure the plug end is screwed in tightly (this does not need to come out) * Unscrew the base of the plug from the other end * WithOUT twisting the metal wiring, insert the wire (match wire color with plug color; start with either one) from the bottom of the plug until the metal sticks out the top * Have ~1/4" metal hanging past the plug * take the wiring and drape it down the sides of the plug (just the smooth side, do NOT cover any of the screw threading or it will be very hard to close it) * Spread the draped wiring around the plug as evenly as possible (makes it easier to screw in later) * Screw the two ends of the plug back together (the side with the draped wiring will go inside the plug) * If you get stuck while screwing it back in, unscrew and adjust the wiring * Repeat for the other side, and you're done!

pretty good banana plugs
Size: 5 Pack, Pattern Name: Banana Plugs
i bought these over 6 months ago and i just installed them to the front left and right floor standing speakers - sony ssf-7000 i have them for over 10 years hooked up to a yamaha 7.1 AVR. alot of people have had trouble installing this - one single banana plug comes in 3 parts - the bottom and top (the banana plug tip) can be unscrewed. what i did was tightened the top first (top being the tip of the banana plug) then unscrew the bottom off completely - make sure you have like 3/4" - 1" (depending on your gauge of wire) of exposed speaker wire that is straight - then thread it through the hole at the bottom up - i then rolled the exposed 3/4 - 1" exposed copper wiring into a ball that is bigger than the hole of the banana plug bottom piece so the wire doesn't fall back through where it came from. then i screwed on the top and middle piece back with the bottom piece - tightening it a bit so i know there's good contact. also make sure the tip is screwed in all the way as well as a double check. what you don't want to do is have the copper wire touch the threaded part of the bottom piece - the wire will cut off from the screwing action. i plugged it into my sony speakers and it wasn't a real snug fit - a bit too loose to feel secure - it didn't seem to go all the way in - but it fit fairly well in my receiver. my intention was to use these banana plugs with my 2 channel set up but i decided to go pre-constructed mediabridge 12 AWG speaker cable instead - those fit my 2 channel set up on my receiver and elacs really snug and secure. i tested it and it works fine. i didn't hear any loss of signal or any extraneous noise. none of my (14 awg?) wiring fell through the bottom and it sounds good. so no complaints there. i bought 5 pairs - but i find that it is an odd number to include a package - even numbered pairs would be better. anyway they seem constructed well - easy enough to install and they do work. thanks for reading
