The QLXD124/85 wireless system is built with switching diversity and automatic channel scan, and has one-touch IR sync capabilities to make finding an open frequency quick. Featuring a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, it offers more than 60 available channels per frequency band. The handheld and bodypack transmitters also have backlit LCD displays to allow for navigation though the menus and controls. With clearly defined performance, the QLXD124/85 delivers good clean audio and provides professional features for demanding live sound events and installations.
The QLXD124/85 system includes a QLXD4 receiver, QLXD1 transmitter, WL185 microphone, QLXD2/SM58 transmitter, PS23 power supply, two detachable 1/2 wave antennas, two 2' BNC cables with bulkhead adapters, two zipper bags, four AA alkaline batteries, and rackmount hardware.
The Shure QLXD2/SM58 is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with QLX-D and ULX-D receivers. It comes equipped with the legendary SM58 dynamic capsule, an industry standard for vocal performers and presenters. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback, and its brightened midrange and bass roll off gives you that sought-after warm and clear vocal reproduction.
The QLXD2/SM58 operates on a 26 MHz UHF tuning range with 1040 selectable frequencies available. It provides up to 9 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a transmission range up to 330' and a selectable 1/10mW RF power output.
With a rugged, yet lightweight aluminum housing, the QLXD2/SM58 transmitter delivers pristine audio quality and RF performance, as well as AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission and advanced rechargeability options. It is well suited for sound reinforcement applications in medium-sized venues and houses of worship as well as A/V installations in conference, educational, and corporate facilities.

The black Shure WL185m is a discreet, low-profile cardioid lavalier microphone well suited to a wide variety of interview, presentation, broadcast, and film/video applications. The mic features a 3-pin LEMO connector compatible with select Shure wireless transmitters. Not only does the lav offer a profile that is 8mm shorter then previous models, the WL185m delivers better audio quality with an improved presence response, higher dynamic range, and lower self-noise for crystal clear speech and vocals.
The electret condenser capsule filters out unwanted low frequencies below 70 Hz and delivers a high-end response up to 20 kHz to provide clear, intelligible speech for instructors, journalists, and presenters doing interviews, voiceovers, and dialog. The diaphragm can handle SPL levels up to 134 dB, while the cardioid pickup pattern focuses audio capture on the talent wearing the mic, picking up less audio from surrounding sources and helping to reduce feedback from sound-reinforcement equipment.
Optimized for a 5 VDC plug-in power source, the mic features a 4' cable terminating in a 3-pin LEMO connector for use with a compatible Shure wireless bodypack transmitter or similar device. A snap-fit windscreen and adjustable lapel clip that offers 90° rotation for optimal mic placement are included. A zippered storage pouch is also supplied.
