Der wunderbare Jamaika Rum wurde im Juli 2009 als Continental Flavoured Rum in einer berüchtigten Double Retort Pot Still der HD-Distillery gebrannt, die neben Clarendon, Long Pond oder Worthy Park zu den bekanntesten Destillerien Jamaikas gehört. Zur Reifung wurde der gute Tropfen in ein Ex-Bourbonfass gefüllt, bevor es direkt im Anschluss seinen Weg nach Europa fand. Bei uns wurde der Single Cask erst im März 2022 abgefüllt. Somit hat der DOK volle 12 Jahre kontinentaler Reifephase hinter sich. Mit einem Estergehalt von 1500-1600 gr/hLAA ist eine wunderschöne Ester-Bombe mit einer Fassstärke von 58,2% vol. entstanden.

Nase eine echte DOK-Granate, Rum-Rosinen, kandierten Früchten, einen Obstkorb überreifer Früchte.
Gaumen  der typisch fruchtige Geschmack, gepaart mit den Ester-Noten, Frucht-Feuerwerk auf der Zunge .
Der Jamaika Rum ist ausgesprochen komplex und extrem rund, was ihn besonders süffig macht. vermutlich HD Hampden

DOK als Maximales Ester-Erlebnis rum Club Selection

Die HD-Distillery verwendet 9 verschiedene Marques, um ihre Rums nach Ester-Gehalt zu kategorisieren. Das Marque DOK wurde nach dem ehemaligen Mitarbeiter und Anteilseigner Dermot Owen Kelly-Lawsen benannt. Wenn man heute von einem DOK spricht, meint man automatisch den Rum der Distillery mit dem höchst erlaubten Ester-Gehalt, der noch exportiert werden darf. Der DOK zählt zudem zu den äußerst geschmackvollen und besonders „funky-gen“ Rumarten. Unsere neuste Abfüllung lässt somit nicht nur unsere Herzen, sondern auch die der DOK-Kenner höherschlagen.

Firstly your introduced to Huntyr you see her closed off hard core badass than towards the end you see the most subtle change and growth it’s amazing and the enemies to friends to lovers was just perfect, AND THE TWIST AT THE END GOT ME GOOD! You see one spicy scene the whole book but it doesn’t even MATTER BECAUSE THE BOOK WAS THAT GOOD. I’ve read 85 books in 2023-2024 so far and I’m pround to say this is my all time favorite. The world building was great and I enjoyed the training aspect of the story. The writing was immersive and was in the story the whole time.
