The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Replacement Filter FR450A BLACK HM450BK contains all the same materials as the standard HealthMate FR-450A filter — a Medical-Grade HEPA filter enclosed by a carbon/zeolite mixture — plus an infused potassium iodide additive. This amplifies the removal of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), making it ideal for those with chemical sensitivities or in highly contaminated environments.
