RG6 Coax Cable, 18 AWG BC, 95% BC Wire Braid for CCTV Transmission and Audio/Video Applications
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is commonly used for wiring satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networking since it requires a higher level of shielding for signal retention. The RG6 coax cable has a denser jacketing and thicker conductor than RG59, so it can transfer data at double the speed. We supply RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable to maximize signal retention for even sharper, clearer digital pictures. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 Ohms and sweeps tested at 3GHz.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radiofrequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with a 95% solid bare copper wire braided shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PVC jacket (CM). Our cables are UL listed and RoHS Compliant.
