Introduction
The S&B cold-side intercooler pipe replaces the failure-prone OEM intercooler pipe on 2017–2026 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. The factory pipe is known to burst under boost and leave the truck stranded. This upgrade uses a larger 3.50" polished aluminum CAC pipe, 5-ply aramid reinforced silicone hose and heavy-duty T-bolt clamps for improved airflow and long-term reliability.
What Does a Cold-Side Intercooler Pipe Do?
The cold-side charge pipe carries cooled, compressed air from the intercooler outlet to the intake manifold. A larger diameter pipe with less restriction improves airflow, reduces pressure drop and improves throttle response — particularly under towing or high-load conditions.
