Q: What's the difference between SGE 400/3 and SGE 400/3BB? A: The SGE 400/3 has a silicone face seal. The SGE 400/3BB has a butyl rubber face seal, which provides superior resistance to chemical warfare agents (nerve agents, mustard gas) and meets stricter CBRN requirements. The 400/3BB is also slightly lighter.
Q: What filters work with this mask? A: Any 40mm NATO threaded filter (EN148-1 / DIN 3183). We recommend our Multipurpose CBRN 40mm Filter ($54.95) which protects against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
