- Knurled riser clamp area (4.75" on-centers) prevents bar from slipping once installed and is applied in areas specifically for the unique spacing found on aftermarket (Moto Iron, Paughco, DNA, Hardbody and similar) springer trees

This handlebar is specifically designed for the rider swapping one of our springers onto a Harley-Davidson previously fitted with a hydraulic front end. The Springer Ape looks right at home on any TC Bros springer and are offered in finishes to match or contrast as you see fit. The rise ranges from a somewhat-conservative 8" to a skyscraping 16" for those who want to get their fists way up in the air. And the look? Pure chopper.
You probably know fitting a springer requires a fair amount of work, and the Springer Ape takes advantage of that—custom lines, wiring, and cables are required on most Harley-Davidson models. If you plan on internally wiring your handlebar, we recommend purchasing a dimpled bar even if you don't plan on using factory H-D controls, since we drill them for just this purpose.
