INVICTO (BELICOSO)
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wapper Color: ENGLISH MARKET SELECTION
Wrapper Type: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Binder: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Filler: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Strength: MEDIUM (RICH) TO FULL FLAVOR

The  Falto Invicto is a Dominican puro in a Belicoso size (6 ¼ x 52).  Its blend, exclusively Dominican, makes it a medium to full bodied cigar, being more on the latter side; thanks to the meticulous and special selection of tobaccos.  A delicious and silky Corojo wrapper surrounds the filler and binder that show touches of toasted wood, roasted coffee and molasses with perfect combustion and complexity.  Its strength, invites it to be paired with a spirit with lots of wood aging (I prefer a dark aged rum).  The Falto Invicto is a puro to be enjoyed with time, seated and in complete relaxation.

All the tobacco for this cigar comes from a single farm.  It is the equivalent to a single-vineyard wine in the tobacco world and made by only two rollers in the La Aurora Cigar Factory.

MENTOR (TORO)
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wrapper Color: ENGLISH MARKET SELECTION
Wrapper Type: ECUADOR
Binder: SUMATRA BRAZIL / CAMEROON
Filler: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA / BRAZIL / NICARAGUA
Strength: MEDIUM TO FULL FLAVOR

The Falto Mentor is a Toro (5 ¾ x 54) that I blended in honor of the man who taught me everything I know about tobacco and cigars: Manuel J. Inoa.  I have been closely working with him for over sixteen years, so this tribute was long overdue.  Some people try this cigar and consider it very full bodied, others find it quite medium bodied.  I find that it has a great balance between both spectrums with subtle undertones of nuts, with some roasted coffee and spices.

MI VIEJO (LIGA #8 & LIGA #9) - CHURCHILL
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wrapper Color: ENGLISH MARKET SELECTION
Wrapper Type: ECUADRO
Binder: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Filler: BRAZIL / NICARAGUA / REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Strength: LIGA #8: MEDIUM TO FULL / LIGA #9 FULL FLAVOR

In February 2009, my father passed away, and I decided to make a cigar in his honor, since he, as well as my mother, always supported my plans.

The Falto Privilegio “Mi Viejo” took a long time to develop, since the blend had to be something extremely special.  After I made a number of blends and tasting them in different sizes, I decided on two ideal blends. Therefore, a box contains twenty cigars: ten cigars of Falto Privilegio “Mi Viejo” Liga #8 and ten of Falto Privilegio “Mi Viejo” Liga #9.  Both in the same Churchill size (6 3/8 x 48).

Both cigars have exactly the same blend with a Corojo Ecuador wrapper, Dominican binder and filler made up of Nicaraguan, Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos.

The difference is that in the Liga #8 as well as in the Liga #9, I use a tobacco called Viso, which is normally found in the third priming from top to bottom of the tobacco plant.  The seed of the tobacco plant and its location of that leaf is the essentials detail.  The Liga #8 has a Viso of Cuban seed tobacco, delivering a medium to full flavored[1] smoke with a rich balance and singular complexity.  On the other hand, the Liga #9 carries the same percentage of Viso, but from Dominican seed tobacco, which offers us a more full flavored smoke with a richer complexity and exquisite balance.  They are two completely distinct cigars and an example of what a difference a seed can make, even though both were grown in the Dominican Republic.

[1] I rather use the terms medium or full flavored, rather than medium and full-bodied.

PERFECTO (FALTO PROMINENTE GRAN RESERVA ESPECIAL)
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wrapper Color: COLORADO
Wrapper Type: CAMEROON
Binder: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Filler: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Strength: MEDIUM TO FULL FLAVOR

The Falto Prominente Gran Reserva Especial is available in only one size, a Perfecto.  It is completely hand made by only two rollers with much experience, using a mold that dates back to 1923.  This magnificent cigar transports the smoker to the past.  With a closed head and foot, it is thicker in the foot than in the head.  They come bound by a cloth fabric and with a production card that indicates three key dates: when the cigar began its cedar aging, when it was packaged, and when it left the factory.  Luis J. Falto as a warranty of quality personally signs the card.  The Prominente uses a Cameroon wrapper that accentuates a delicious potency.  It is a cigar with personality and a lot of character, and a medium to full body strength that highlights the elegant flavors of tobacco and coffee notes.

ROBUSTO
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wrapper Color: COLORADO
Wrapper Type: SUMATRA ECUADOR
Binder: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Filler: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Strength: MEDIUM TO FULL FLAVOR

The Falto Robusto achieves a balance from medium to full body with touches of pepper and freshness.  Its Sumatra Ecuadorian wrapper helps maintain great balance and complexity throughout the smoke and accentuate the blend Dominican Filler and Binder.

VEJIGANTE (GRAND CORONA)
Origin: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
Wrapper Color: ENGLISH MARKET SELECTION
Wrapper Type: HABANO ECUADOR (HVA: HABANA VUELTA ARRIBA)
Binder: DOMINICAN COROJO
Filler: REPUBLICA DOMINICANA / NICARAGUA / CAMEROON
Strength: MEDIUM TO FULL FLAVOR

The Falto Vejigante is a Grand Corona with an impressive 6 x 58 size.  It has a Habano Ecuador wrapper with a double Dominican Corojo binder and filler consisting of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Cameroon.  The Vejigante delivers a complex smoking experience changing and developing its flavors and character through the entire smoking experience.  It has very good notes of wood, with nuts and you can also find some dark roasted coffee as well as dark chocolate.

Hotel quality, budget friendly
Size: King, Style: Light
I’ve only used this for several nights. Overall I’m pretty happy with it, especially for the price. It is soft to the touch and has a nice, smooth feel. It’s lightweight but still provides enough warmth for mild to cool nights. I don’t like feeling weighed down when I sleep, so the light fill is actually a big plus for me. If you’re someone who sleeps hot, this is a solid choice. The corner tabs are super helpful. I paired it with a duvet cover and haven’t had issues with shifting or bunching. It also fits my bed well, though I could see it being a bit short on the sides if you have a very thick mattress. This is a great budget-friendly option and seems like it will be easy to maintain.

A Great Comforter for Everyday Use
Size: Full/Queen, Style: All-Season
I absolutely love this comforter! I love the fact it’s machine washable, and it held up really well after the first wash. It fluffed back up nicely, stayed soft, and didn’t lose its shape. It’s not too heavy but still cozy enough to keep you comfortable. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations, and I am very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend 😊

Feels luxury, I approve
Size: King, Style: Warm
I have purchased high end comforters/duvet inserts and this one is somehow my favorite. It's so thick and fluffy. I was going to do the double duvet insert method to create an extra lush bed situation, but honestly it's not needed at all with this comforter! It poofs up wonderfully inside my duvet cover (king duvet, king insert) and it's like heaven. It's very cozy yet airy, and it moves well during the night and does not fee too heavy despite its weight. This thing is definitely on the warm end and probably won't be suitable for Florida summers, but depending on how you set the AC at night it could be fine! The comforter is weighty, it feels like quality, and has a soft fabric. I wouldn't use it without a duvet cover, that's more of an aesthetic choice but I like keeping it clean. The white is very white. Honestly, I will be getting another one simply because I'm so impressed. Definitely no need to drop $300+ dollars elsewhere.

ALL SEASON IS TOO WARM!
Size: King, Style: All-Season
I got the King, All Season, to squeeze into a Queen duvet for extra floof and it's sooo cozy. Highly recommend. I redacted 1 star though because although it says All Season, the amount of down in here feels like it's for winter. The first night I used it I woke up dripping in sweat. It's currently March, I live in Los Angeles area, hitting about 75° weather outside rn, but I sleep with AC full blast at night (usually hit about 64 when I wake up). I can't sleep with it, I'll need to buy the "cool" one, and hope that isn't tooo thin. Don't get me wrong, it's a great insert, but holy hell, it's too heckin' warm. I saw someone else mention it and wish I had honed in on their comment. I don't wanna return it as it was used, so I'm stuck with it now. *UPDATE* I am back because I also bought the "Cool" blanket as well after experiencing the heat of the all season and it too is also too hot for me. I've had a duvet before but I guess not filled to the capacity of these blankets. If you're a hot sleeper maybe look elsewhere?
