Advantage of the transparent tank: unlike most lighters with opaque bodies, the GRIPS XXL allows you to monitor the gas level at all times. Refill as soon as the level drops to one-third — this prevents insufficient pressure that weakens the torch flame before a complete outage.
Delivered unfilled — commercial butane refill required. Wait 2 minutes after filling. Adjust the wheel to the minimum position before first use.
Why an angled shape for a cigar lighter? The angled shape directs the flame forward rather than upwards — it allows you to light the foot of a horizontally held cigar without tilting the lighter or risking burning your fingers.
