ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. A great $30

The wood is cheap particle board (probably better bc they are very light weight) but the brackets are plenty strong and sturdy.
Advice on the install: your walls may not be exactly 90 degrees. Install one bracket after the other is holding the shelf up.

Great shelves but be warned.
Color: Grey
These shelves are great for small items and can definitely hold up to their advertised weight if mounted in a stud. However, DO NOT use the longest screws at all. All the screws are low quality and are likely to break. The medium length ones are sufficient for everything. If your wall faces an exterior concrete wall: break off the tips on the dry wall anchors, they are too long.

These are a great corner option

Made my bathroom look beautiful
