A truly captivating vintage diamond cluster ring. Created in 1955 yet echoing the romance and craftsmanship of much earlier Victorian design. The diamonds within the ring are believe to be much old in age and have been brought together in the 1950's to create this ring.

At its heart sits a substantial old cut diamond of approximately just over 1 carat, full of life and character. Its hand cut facets produce a soft yet lively sparkle, rich in fire and individuality. Surrounding this central stone is a halo of old cut diamonds, carefully arranged to enhance its brilliance and create a beautifully balanced cluster.

The shoulders are adorned with a graduating trilogy of old cut diamonds on each side, adding further light and movement to the piece. Altogether, the ring is alive with sparkle. A dazzling display of antique stones working in harmony.

The ring is created from buttery 18 carat gold gold with wonderful details and around in the setting. In a thoughtful nod to traditional craftsmanship, the central diamond is set in silver, a technique commonly used in Victorian jewellery to enhance the whiteness and brilliance of the stones. This detail, combined with the use of old cut diamonds throughout, gives the ring a distinctly antique look and feel despite its mid 20th century date.

In total, we estimate the combined diamond weight to be approximately 1.6–1.9 carats. This is an informed estimate, as the stones are irregularly cut and remain within their settings, making precise measurement challenging.

DIAMOND: The diamonds are old cut and show the wear of the antique era they are. The central diamond has a fair level of inclusions within the stone however the wonderful cut creates so much sparkle that these have to be closely looked for.

Condition: This is overall lovely vintage condition with a patina to of wear to the diamonds and gold; a few of the external diamonds have minot nibbles to the surface.
