The Peterson box features a large, steep to help better protect from both summer sun and predators. The sloping front also reduces the probability of rain and elements from getting in. While most bluebird houses have 1½” circular opening, the Peterson box features an oval entrance. This design enables adult birds to feed their young and clean the house without having to completely enter the box.
Simply mount to any fence, post, tree or wall. Now, sit back and enjoy!
Manufactured at an old order Amish homestead, this bird house is meticulously handcrafted from high density poly plastic to stand the test of time and use. Poly lumber is made of recycled high-density polyethylene materials. It resists splintering and rotting. No need for chemical weatherproofing treatments. It is also impervious to normal wood-destroying pests.
Bright and beautiful high quality poly plastic and stainless steel hardware will last FOREVER! Unlike department store versions, these are individually handmade utilizing generational techniques and high quality materials.
