Origin:

Feeding:
Carnivorous and omnivorous – thrives on a high-quality pellet diet, supplemented with frozen or live foods such as krill, bloodworms, shrimp, and occasional vegetables. A varied diet enhances coloration and kok growth.
Tank Mates:
Best kept alone or in very large aquariums with other large, aggressive cichlids. Not recommended for community setups due to territorial aggression.
Aggression:
Very aggressive and territorial. Known for dominance and should not be housed with small or timid fish.
Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced. Requires a large tank, strong filtration, and regular maintenance to thrive. Flowerhorns are hardy but need consistent care for optimal coloration and health.
