- This is a three color Risograph print, made by layering blue, yellow and fluorescent orange ink.
- Hand printed by Natalie in her Los Angeles studio.
- Size is 8 1/2 x 11 on smooth 65lb. natural white paper.
- Riso or Risograph is a printing process made by layering different colored inks to create rich and vibrant images. Because this process requires adding one layer of ink at a time, slight differences in registration are natural and sometimes roller marks from the machine can occur.

Never Give Up
Format: Kindle
This is a wonderful story, told in rhyme, by Elizabeth Cole. It’s about a boy named Nick who who falls the first time he tries his new skates. Dad and Mom share their own experiences and how they didn’t give up trying new endeavors. Eventually, Nick finds success after following his parents’s advice with gaining confidence along the way. He realizes that persevering had made him a stronger person.
Ms. Cole’s book is a must have in any teacher’s classroom library and used to create thoughtful discussions about never giving up. The illustrations are visually pleasing which will engage children. This book receives my highest recommendation.

Positive Message
Format: Kindle
This is a great book with a positive message about perseverance. I really enjoyed that the author used more than one example of what perseverance looks like and that not everyone will be an absolute expert right away, or even after a year. We all go through struggles in various stages of our lives and this is a good reminder for kids as well as the parent who might be reading to their child to have a positive mind-set. The art is very well done and enhances the story nicely. Well done and I recommend!
