Green-growing secrets and powerful magic await you at Misselthwaite Manor, now reimagined in this bewitching graphic novel adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's beloved tale. From Mariah Marsden, author of the critically acclaimed Anne of Green Gables: A Graphic Novel, comes this second installment in a series of retold children's classics. Ten-year-old Mary Lennox arrives at a secluded estate on the Yorkshire moors with a scowl and a chip on her shoulder. First, there's Martha Sowerby: the too-cheery maid with bothersome questions who seems out of place in the dreary manor. Then there's the elusive Uncle Craven, Mary's only remaining family--whom she's not permitted to see. And finally, there are the mysteries that seem to haunt the run-down place: rumors of a lost garden with a tragic past, and a midnight wail that echoes across the moors at night. As Mary begins to explore this new world alongside her ragtag companions--a cocky robin redbreast, a sour-faced gardener, and a boy who can talk to animals--she learns that even the loneliest of hearts can grow roots in rocky soil. Given new life as a graphic novel in illustrator Hanna Luechtefeld's whimsical style, The Secret Garden is more enchanting and relevant than ever before:- A fresh, visually stunning retelling of one of the most beloved children's classics
- Playfully teaches lessons about kindness, resilience, and emotional transformation
- A richly visual reading experience well suited to emerging and reluctant readers ages 9-11
- Additional features teach readers about the life of Frances Hodgson Burnett and the history of British colonialism that contextualizes the original novel, making this a valuable classroom resource and literary companion.
For young readers, fans of classic literature, and anyone who loves beautifully illustrated stories about growth and discovery, The Secret Garden: A Graphic Novel invites you to step inside a world of mystery and magic. Open the book and uncover the secrets waiting to bloom.

Timely words for today’s culture
Format: Paperback
Debra Fileta's "Soul Care" is a great blend of faith-based principles and practical advice. I love how she explores the rhythms Jesus practiced to care for his soul as a framework for readers to follow.
What sets Soul Care apart is her holistic approach to caring for ourselves. Debra Fileta addresses the spiritual, emotional, AND physical aspects (I love the title of chapter 7). Her tone is so easy to read, but the content is deep and thought provoking. Soul Care is helping me realize the need to establish healthier, more sustainable rhythms in my life and giving me answers for how to do that.
As someone who served in ministry before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic, I’ve seen such a high burnout rate around me (and in my own life). This couldn’t be a more timely read. I want to give a copy to everyone I know!

Nice rack
I have a small bedroom and this over the door rack is great. Holds my belts, sweaters and jackets. Love the baskets for extra storage.

Hooks broke that hold coat hooks. Had one month!!!!
I really loved the idea of this, but the hooks in the bars that hold the coat hooks are very flimsy!!! I have only had one month and they broke!!! It is not made to hold ANY heavy to medium weight coats things!!! I would not recommend this unless you only hang very light weight things on hooks.
