These brake pads made of synthetic resin have a high braking performance and thus ensure maximum braking power. The aluminum cooling ribs dissipate the heat generated when braking and thereby reduce overheating of the brake system on longer descents! Furthermore, synthetic resin linings reduce noise when braking - both in dry and wet conditions. Of course, materials research cannot outsmart physics; compared to metallic brake pads, wear is somewhat higher and temperature stability is limited. However, this increases the service life of your brake discs. If you need more braking power, then we recommend the corresponding Shimano metal brake pads.

NOTE: The J05A Resin Pads with cooling fins are the successor model to the J03A Resin Pads and are compatible with the same disc brake models as the previous version.
