Inside this 192-page hardback book you will find army lists containing profiles and special rules for every model available for the following factions, alongside magic items and unique spells:
– Dwarfen Mountain Holds
– Empire of Man
– Kingdom of Bretonnia
– Wood Elf Realms
– High Elf Realms
Each army list includes the Grand Army composition list for that faction, along with an introduction to the faction and a full description of each of the many characters and units it contains. What a wonderful mystery, a grand heroine who is polishing her detective skills.
All the pomp of the gentile classes at their play. Murders, theft, and dogs in the highlands, what could be better?

Promising start to new mystery series.
Format: Kindle
Lady Persephone "Poppy" Proudfoot attends a house party at an estate, meets some American actors, and tries to solve the murder of a stranger to the village whose body is discovered by the lake. The first in a series, this book is a quick read with a plot that moves along, although some of the large cast of characters seem superfluous (e.g., the American visitors). Poppy is a widow, a law-school graduate (in the 1920s!), and ran a hospital for wounded soldiers during WW1, so an interesting character to read about. A promising beginning to the series and I look forward to the next book. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the eARC.
