The Commuter 2.0 Suspension System from Carli is about lifting your truck the RIGHT way for the truck that sees mostly on-road duties and delivers a superior ride quality compared to anything on the market.

Please see notes below regarding available options and requirements.

The Super Duty Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality who don't plan to off-road their vehicle. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ Diameter, Internal Reservoir shocks, Carli developed a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in-town, highway, and towing/hauling.

The mono-tube, internal reservoir, Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts 6063 Aluminum construction, anodized body for corrosion resistance, 5/8″ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability & re-buildability, and are built with 1-piece bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are spec’d with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping, and the widest available range in temperature variation. Carli backs these with a 1-year warranty, serviced by Carli. Unlike most of our suspension systems, the Commuter was tuned with 20”, factory wheels on factory Michelin tires given many in the entry-level, 3.5” lift market want the most bang for their buck and will continue to run the factory wheels and tires.

The truck will sit 3.5" higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli Coil Springs. The Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. Due to a design issue with newer Ford SuperDuty trucks, this kit will come automatically with Radius Arm Drop Brackets and 1° Caster correction shims which are needed to get your steering to the proper Caster angle after lifting.

Front Sway Bar Option

  • No Sway Bar: The Communter System is optimized to be used with a torsion sway bar giving a huge ride quality upgrade. Staying with the unmodified factory sway bar is not recommended unless you have a truck with a snow plow, or in-bed camper, or constantly hauling to capacity.
  • Sway Bar Drop Bracket: The economical solution as it keeps the Factory Sway Bar End Links but corrects the factory sway bar geometry.
  • End Link and Drop Bracket Kit: This kit combines End Links and Drop Brackets for perfect sway bar position and excellent articulation.
  • Sway Bar Kit and End Links: This kit replaces your immoveable factory sway bar with a custom torsion bar and has brackets and links to make sure it fits as it should. There will be a huge ride quality improvement when you install this kit.

Rear Leaf Spring Option

  • No Rear Leaf Spring: Unless you have your own set of Carli leaf springs you can use, this will result in a "floaty" rear end and unknown height as the Commuter System is designed to be used with any of the below options; NOT factory leaf springs.
  • Carli Add-A-Pack: While these are compatible, there will be a noticeable ride quality difference between on and off-road. The Add-A-Pack is not recommended for F-350, F-250 with High Capacity Tow, or Tremor Package.
  • Full Progressive Leaf Spring Kit: The Commuter 2.0 Kit is optimized to be used with this Rear Leaf kit.
  • Heavy Duty Progressive Leaf Kit: These Heavy Duty Leaf Springs are designed for those trucks which have 1,000 lbs constantly in their bed.

Leaf Spring Shackle Option

The SuperDuty can have a rather jarring ride quality in its rear due to factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. While the shackle is tough, its design didn't take into account ride quality. Replace it with the Carli shackle to get both strength and smoothness.

Pinion Shim Kit Option

Recommended for when you are modifying rear leaf springs, these shims correct an angle issue for your driveline that can cause vibrations once you get 70mph. It's better to take care of the issue now when you install your suspension kit and then realize it later.

Adjustable Radius Arms Option

Put the nail in "Death Wobble"'s coffin with these radius arms from Carli. A full .5° to 2.5° of adjustable Caster correction comes with these full-length internal structure arms.

Steering Stabilizer Option

A lift kit brings many benefits but it does come with some added snags to your drive comfort. Smooth them out with steering stabilizers. Choose high, low, or both for the ultimate dual opposing combination you can adjust more times than you can count.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5" - 5.5" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
  • TIRES: 35" without trimming and 37" with, E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R.
  • RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Commuter Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride.
  • This system will not achieve a proper rear-high stance without the installation of the Add-a-Pack or Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack. Without any rear option, an F250 will sit about rear-low. If a Carli rear spring option is not purchased, one can install the taller 2017-19 Ford 3″ rear block for a leveled stance but the rear ride quality will not be optimized.

Really good pillows
Number of Items: 1, Number of Items: 1
I’ve been using this pillow for a while now and it’s honestly one of the most comfortable pillows I’ve tried. It has a soft, cloud-like feel but still gives enough support for my neck and shoulders. I’m a side sleeper and it keeps its shape well through the night. The material feels high quality, and it doesn’t go flat like cheaper pillows. Definitely improved my sleep quality and worth the purchase.

Soft AND supportive
Number of Items: 1
I knew I needed a very soft pillow - all the foam pillows I had bought recently to try to upgrade our home pilllow selection seemed ok to the touch but were still too firm once I tried them out, but recently I also had some neck pain that needed some gentle support and the old old foam pillow I had that was so very soft was losing its supportive qualities and the pain wasn’t getting better. This one seemed by description to fit the bill- very soft by the company’s own definition but also with support. I’m happy to report this is exactly as advertised- the softest foam pillow I’ve tried out of the box but also good support. Pain has improved since I started using this pillow. I would buy more if we need more pillows, it’s perfect for me and I think would be comfortable for most people. I think you just need to figure out how firm you need your pillow and also height preference . I’m an all over sleeper -back, side, even belly sometimes, so it’s fine for me, but it is a little taller compared to other pillows I’ve bought recently. I didn’t compare/try other prominent pillow brands, mostly my experience is Ikea (my daughter uses a very flat and nice foam pillow from them that is even a little pricier than this one and it works well for her), and whatever brands happen to be available at target and Costco. This price point for a name brand is reasonable, I think; I was looking at other brands way over $100, and I was willing to spend that much for something that would work long term, so this one working was great. Also, this definitely does not have any cooling effect technology, which is fine by me, but something to consider if you do like cool pillows. (Although, PSA: I recently had to throw away older foam pillows that had those cooling gel panels because the gel panels started disintegrating into sticky ooze; gross and had to throw away whole pillow because couldn’t dissociate from rest of the pillow. Sad cuz the foam part of those pillows were fine.) Anyway, if you like softer pillows but want good support, this one works well and is worth trying!!

Flatter than a regular pillow but nice and soft
Number of Items: 1
Is it softer than a typical memory foam pillow? Yes. But it’s also a lot flatter. I don’t find this pillow rebounds very well. It’s good for stomach sleepers but not so much for side sleepers. I’m a 2/3 of the night side sleeper so it’s unfortunately not my magic pillow.

Best pillow for my neck pain.
Number of Items: 1
I've tried so so many pillows to relieve my neck pain at night and this one is the first pillow that has actually worked. I was skeptical at first as this pillow is heavy and dense but one night and I was hooked. I couldn't believe I found a pillow that actually not only was comfortable but also relieved my neck strain. It's worth the cost to now be able to wake up without pain.
