The Liberty Series features several pattern options from luxurious Liberty of London fabrics. Designed in London since the 1800's, Liberty of London fabric is printed and finished in Italy. They are known for their colorful floral patterns and high quality cotton with very smooth finish. 

Several patterns available for scrunchie, or two different headbands of your choosing.

Universally sized. 

Skinny Headband: 3/8” wide, 14.25" tip to tip, covered with fabric. 
Wide Headband: 7/8” wide headband,16" tip to tip, covered with a floral cotton fabric. 
Skinny Petite Knot Scrunchie: 5.25" x 1.25" wide bow, 7.5" elastic (slides easily on the wrist, wraps approximately twice depending on thickness of hair.

This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo
