You’ll learn how to prep your quilt sandwich, how to comfortably maneuver your quilt while stitching, and the essential tools, tricks, and starter designs that build confidence and control.

Cole has been drawing, sewing, and designing since childhood, and his creative approach to quilting has earned national recognition—including a Second‑Place award for his Joy quilt at QuiltCon 2024. He specializes in pixel quilts, foundation paper‑piecing design, and both free‑motion and ruler‑work quilting on longarm and domestic machines. Cole brings a thoughtful, encouraging teaching style to every class and loves helping quilters build confidence through hands‑on exploration and skill‑building. He currently designs custom quilts and works as a professional longarmer.
