The design for the Kingsbury MS3 Battalion draws heavily on classic mid-century-style field watches. Despite all this history and heritage, the MS3 Battalion feels thoroughly modern. It’s simple and sleek and, in many ways, the perfect field watch: durable, minimalist, and reliable. Powered by the work horse Seiko NH35, a 3 handed mechanical movement that beats 21,6000 per/hour, has dual directional automatic winding and a stop second (hacking) feature. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and 200M water resistance will have you ready for any situation.

To ensure a sturdy build, the casing of the MS3 Battalion was forged using stainless steel, which has been given a beautiful brushed finish. The thin bezel protrudes out from the case at an angle and adds some depth to the 39 mm diameter case (measured w/o the crown). With a total height of 12MM, it feels and looks good on the wrist. The screw-down crown on the MS3 sits at typical 3 o'clock position and is signed with the Kingsbury 'K'. The rugged crown completes the utilitarian look of the watch and features a practical, easy to grip edge.

Protecting the face of the watch, you'll find a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Coupled with the stainless steel case and backing, the MS3 Battalion boasts a very impressive water resistance of 20ATM (200M).

The dial on the MS3 Battalion has a vintage feel and is inspired by classic field watches from the WWII era. The matte dials have bold, numeral hour markings, printed in luminous material. The minute and hour hands, which are also luminous, use a baton style design with fine pointed ends. To count down the seconds, you will find a strong arrow-style second hand, painted in a contrasting yellow, that makes it extremely easy to read.

Printed on the outside track, you will find 24-hour markings for reading out military time. At the 3 o'clock position you will find a convenient date window - one of the features of the NH35 automatic movement.

No field watch would be complete without a way of reading your dials in the dark and the MS3 Battalion is no exception. For our design, we chose the supreme high quality of Swiss made SuperLuminova (BGW9), which appears white under normal conditions and glows green during low light conditions (when charged).

Both the numbered hour markings and the hour and minute hands have been treated with the luminescent paint, which is not only functional, but gives the watch a desirable glowing design.

In keeping with the vintage design, the MS3 Battalion Ref.101019 comes equipped with a black, micro-suede watch strap, with matching stitching and stainless steel hardware. These 20mm wide straps, are sporty in design and are made from genuine cow leather. Each strap features the vintage Red Cross medic insignia stamped onto the matching brushed buckle.

The caseback on the MS3 Battalion is constructed from 316L stainless steel and has a screw-down design allowing for the tightest fit and best protection against water. The outer edge of each caseback has been engraved with the make and model plus water resistance and movement details. Featured prominently in the center of the caseback is an engraving of the Kingsbury military badge design.

so good
Format: Kindle
I’ve read any number of fairy tale retellings and I believe this one is top ten. The characters are likeable but complex enough to be interesting; the plot stands alone but leads you to the next book. The dialogue is also quite clever.

Nice standalone

3.5 stars. Reminds me of the old school romances of the 80s and 90s. Boy meets girl. They fight. They fall in love. Boy screws up. Girl flees. They kiss and make up. One thing that I absolutely adore about Loretta Marshall's worlds is just how inventive she is with the magic. Magic via flowers? How does her brain think of these things?

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.
